嘿!嘿!Hi! We're Catherine & Lanssie
Two Asian American moms (with Chinese and Taiwanese roots) who kept asking the same question: How do we help the next generation feel at home in both their heritage and the wider world?
Round Door Studio is our answer.
We create stories that make Chinese language and culture approachable, joyful, and memorable—for families, heritage learners, language learners, and anyone curious to explore. Through timeless folktales, original stories, and cultural traditions, we hope to spark curiosity and create connections that last across generations.
Why a round door?
The round door in our logo is inspired by the moon gates found in classical Chinese gardens. But to us, it's also a portal, a doorway into stories, adventures, language, and culture. Every time someone presses play, we hope they're stepping through that door into a new world.
